Need a New Push Mower

The big 5ah battery for the blower is havoing trouble already. Sometimes refuses to charge, flashes red.

How are you storing it ? When are you charging it ?

I store it in my garage, usually leave it on the blower. I charge it when it starts acting up (cutting off)
which is usually 3/4 empty.

You said blower has a 5ah Battery.....Don't you mean mower ? My EGO blower only has a 2.5 ah batt. After reading up on Li-ion batts I decided I was going to keep it indoors since they don't like heat. Second: They don't like to sit fully charged. The best thing for longevity is charging them to 80% and discharging them to 20%. But the charger only tells you when it's fully charged or at 100%. Therefore I may take a break in between using the blower and fully charge it . Then use it for another 5-10 minutes and call it quits. Then the next time I use it I fully charge and repeat.
