I need someone to sandblast,inside and out,a 71 Elco body only. It's up in the high desert area,Apple valley, Victorville.Anyone know someone? Also,what do i look for when i find someone? Are they supposed to use a certain media for this?What about in L.A? Thanks

Be careful that you get someone who has done this before. It is very easy to end up with bad ripples in the surface. I have a uncle who had a car sandblasted and it came out real bad.
I think I saw an episode of overhauling where they had a car blasted with baking-soda.
Also I think I once saw an episode where a vehicle was blasted with dry ice.

Yep, soda or media blasting is far safer than sand blasting. Of course chemical dipping is better still...and more $. Good luck on the El.

Last time I went to the dentist, they used a soda blaster to polish my teeth instead of the traditional rotary polisher. It's a small air brush like version, not what you would use to strip a car.
