I have a 1995 Ford Thunderbird with the 4.6 engine. About two years ago now I put some stop leek in it, and boy did it turn the coolant nasty. Now that I got some free time and a place to do it in, I’m going to flush and refill. What flush brand would you guys recommend for me? And what brand coolant?

You might want to fix whatever the need for the stop leak first.

I would start with a water only flush and see if is enough. The cleaners are sometimes hard to completely get rid of so use them only if needed. Prestone Super Flush works well if you do end up needing a chemical.

Once the system is truly clear, Zerox G05 would in my mind be the preferred coolant.

Prestone Super Flush has worked great for me in the past. Did my 02 Explorer over a year ago and new coolant still looks pristine.

I think I'll do Prestone Super Flush then add the RMI25 to the fresh coolant
