Depends on what you want. The Wix-made Napa Gold is built like a tank in comparison to the others, but the media is not quite as efficient, although decent. Most Wix/NG with a bypass valve also have the preferred upfront design.

The gold PureOnes are really efficient and would be my first pick for the money here. The Bosch is also made by Purolator and is nearly the same as the PureOne, but possibly a tad less efficient media per the numbers listed on the boxes.

You can get a better price on PureOnes on Amazon if you buy 6 filters.

You can get a better price at http://www.fleetfilter.com on the Napa Golds if you buy several, and they are a site sponsor. (click link at top of the page).

Bosch oil filters at AutoZone were on sale for 2 for $10. Not sure if that deal is still on currently.

Regular Purolators are listed by Purolator on the box as 96% efficient.
Bosch 98%
PureOne 99.9%
Assuming these numbers are comparing the same test, the Bosch appears to be a step up from the reg Puro Premium. I think the Bosch also has the orange silicon ADBV which is supposed to be better than the black nitrile.

Between those 2?

Pureone...

I've been using the blue ones for the Subaru and each one is built well when I cut them open and no issues.

i was always worried that the gold pure ones were too restrictive and i dont like that sometimes the gold flakes off... I use them in the summer but always think when the oil is cold the bypass valve opens more than the regular filter... Just a thought i could be wrong i always believe that its better to have dirty oil than no oil at all.. In my shop we use group 7 we buy in bulk they are the same as purolator plus.. We also use delco and motorcraft for the fords most of the time

If you are a PureOne fan, Amazon has them for under $10 for two. Buy 6 or spend a total of $25.00 and get free shipping. Most states are no sales tax as well...........

I did exactly this and got them today. All 6 were the older blue PureOnes.

Good deal, but one of my apps says ships in 1-2 mons., the other is in stock. It does now show a pic of the the new sure grip style on their site.

I like the Pure One, the $1.50 price advantage (or better @ Amazon), and the textured surface seals the deal for me.

It showed the new grippy style filters when I ordered, but I still received the blue ones. Not that it matters, the blues are excellent filters.

Here I can get WIX for $5.39 and PureOnes for $6.88.
That makes it a no brainer for me. If they were the same price I would have to toss a coin.

You can order NAPA Golds from Fleet Filter for about $5/each, delivered. That would be my choice.
