NAPA Syn 0w20 Fram Extra Guard ([censored])

Blackstone Comments:
The NAPA oil and Fram filter held up quite well.
The viscosity was right in spec for 0w20 oil and it obviously did a good job of keeping internal parts well lubricated.
Wear levels match up nicely with the averages, which for this type of Toyota engine are based on ~6,200 miles of oil use.
No contamination from fuel or coolant was found, and the low insolubles show that the oil filter kept excessive solids out of the flow.
The TBN was 3.7, showing plenty of active additives left.
In our experience, low cost oils/ filter get the job done just like the more expensive brands.

Wash, rinse, repeat. Very UOA. But nothing wrong with NAPA Syn (Valvoline).

Treating the members like children. Yes, that's the word it censored. Is Fram a sponsor ? Don't want to hurt their feelings ?

Yeah I can't say for the life of me why a well-known abbreviation that has been used for the 10+ years I've been reading this forum is suddenly censored. no-no [censored]....now has to be TEARing purOLATOR I guess. MUCH harder to type.... duh

Be careful, that's a flagrant attempt at tricking the potty-mouth filter.
