Just booked some international flight tickets. Airline (Singapore) only asked for first and last name. Our passports have first, middle, last. Will this be an issue at border control? I double checked- they only needed first name!

I know for me, at the beginning of 2011, I just had to update all of my airline profiles to match my passport format exactly (which in my case was first, middle, last name). I had a problem going into the EU zone when I had bought a ticket with first and last name and when they checked my passport, my middle name was there as well. Semantics in a way as I would not expect to have anyone on the flight that shared my name in any format, but I suppose there are some popular names where this could be an issue.

And everyone wonders why I've quit flying and traveling. Between TSA and "well the federal law"says ...I'm just too old I guess. SMOKY THE ANCIENT

International travel, I'd make sure everything is exactly the same.

Depends on the border. Generally, my UAL ticket has all 3 names, so does the passport, but that's after my passport has been verified by the gate agent. Just flew to the Dominican Republic last week, passport information, including middle name, was added to the ticket at check-in. Full name was not on the reservation, only first and last were on the reservation. I would call Singapore airlines and ask what gets added after check in...
