Im drawn to this place like a sailor to a siren, a moth to a flame...

A retail store packed to the gills with all the best stuff from Japan and a few other places.

I need to exercise extreme self control in a candy store like this....

Their website is a mess stylistically but here some of the line they have on display

Are prices reasonable since they aren’t necessarily foreign where they are being sold?

They seem to be when I look them up.

In that ultra high end tools like Koken and Nepros are "reasonable" to begin with.

The best two brands out there, to me, is Metabo-HPT/Hikoki and Makita. They don’t even have them listed. Do yourself a favor and check HPT out. I have almost everything and the quality and usability are superb. No budget on my end when buying a tool and I couldn’t find anything I enjoyed using more.

I'm on the Makita platform fairly big time. I agree HPT is great as well.

Im going to Royal Home Center for Makita specifically on this trip.

I dont think there are many Japanese Makita products I dont already know about though.
