So a culvert plugs up every spring, and we just got a little snow melt followed by a fast freeze. Basically 5-6 inches of water got trapped and skinned over. My car was basically one of those coast guard ice breaker ships!
From the opposite angle, looking downhill. You can see the stream still trickling forwards into the gaping puddle. This is water flowing over ice. I just had my car in 1st with the clutch out, not stopping for anything!
