Finally got everything the way I want it. Here are the pics of where I mounted my Frantz's and remote oil filters on my vehicles.

The 00 blazer has a frantz with the in-line adapter from wefilterit on the transmission. I just rest the frantz on the oil fill cap and zip tied it in a few places. It stays put very well. (No where to mount the bracket in the vehicle except behind the front bumper and I'm not going there.)

The 99 Ram 1500 has a frantz on the motor with a perma cool 181 sandwich adapter. The transmission uses a remote filter kit from summit with a perma cool 181 sandwich adaptor. (For the dodge owners out there I installed the remote filter where the problematic check ball that has been known to clog up in transmission cooler line. The ADBV in the motorcraft fl1a oil filter now acts as the check ball so the torque converter will not drain overnight.)

I Tried the push-on 801 parker hose from mcmaster that mykro I believe used on the blazer worked great for .80 a foot no hose clamps.

Here are the pics:

That's a good looking install. I had a '98 Dodge Ram before I sold it and got my 6.0 PSD. My Dodge was a good truck. Underneath your Dodge hood is cleaner than what mine was when I sold it though

Looks good. That's the way I mounted my Frantz when I had one, filter up. It was clean to change because the oil would run down the hose when the bracket was lose and air could get in. I just had to be patient and wait a minute.
