My first EV was a Mako Shark slot car in 1965 when I was 12. I had a small tackle box full of extra tires, controllers, motors, Tiger milk etc that I would strap to my Schwinn Varsity and ride across town and spend the day racing them on different tracks set up in an old former roller skating rink. What great fun that was!
