All were clean. Hyundai paid for a late model renter, and gave him a new engine. That's customer service in my book.
Yeah, I know about the known problems. Just had the 953 engine ECM/Cluster recall update done. Which is supposed to inform the operator of engine failure before the engine would get to the point of seizing. Also the warranty coverage on the engine has been pushed to 120,000 miles. After they did the update the tech told me that their computer didn't pick up any bearing wear sounds or vibrations. I'm not to worry about it really.
