Sometimes I see posted here that this oil is better than another. When I worked at a refinery in IN. I asked an engineer how oils that they produced were different since they bottled oils for many oem manufacturers house brands. I was told they look at all the specs from clients and produce oil that meets all of them . They only have storage tanks for different viscousities. So all 10/30 oils come from the same 10/30 storage tank

Youll see this alot for private labels. For example, WPP manufacuters, Mag 1, Accel, Super Tech, Travelers and many other oils. Different label and color of the bottle but the oil is the same. But that doesn't hold true for most name brand. Mobil isn't the same as valvoline or castrol, they all might bottle it under different names under a private company label. Just like CP makes motorcraft and XOM makes AC Delco. But saying all oils are the same just different bottle is not correct.

Don't know about the other brands, but I wrote Warren to see if their was any difference between their Mag1 and their Accel synthetoc oil.. "The Mag1 and the Accel are different formulas of oil where the Mag 1 is an overkill to where the Accel is GF-5/SN. Hope this helps"
