Beautiful ESS.....Thanks for sharing! My wife had a couple ESS's when when the kids were young.....They were, In my opinion very high maintenance! They were great when we were around.....But went completely bonkers when we were away for more than an hour!
Leave them in the yard.....They would burrow under the fence. $800 vet bill when one tried going under the chain link & got stuck.
Leave them in the house.....Total mayhem. Ruined a 100 year old raised panel door not mention countless Blinds & Curtains.
Leave them in a Dog Crate....Either the crate would give or they would hurt themselves.

Such well behaved, Highly trained, Smart/Loving dogs to turn into crazed lunatics absent of humans has to be one of the strangest things I've ever dealt with.

I found a picture of the Male we had circa 2002......He got out of the yard a few year later & met his demise.

Every dog I've had will eat vegetation, I have a really big Honeysuckle in a corner of my yard that they love to munch on!
