Motul X-cess 5w40 or Bardahl - XTC 5W40

Hi, Which do you prefer? For a common rail desel engine. Motul X-CESS 5w40 API SN/CF ACEA A3/B4; Or Bardahl - XTC 5W40 (not version C60) API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B4-12 They are on a same price!

Interested in answers too. Isn't the Bardahl advertised as part-synth only? The Motul has quite ordinary specs but is fairly cheap here and it suits the Smart well. So far it is doing a good job keeping the noise low in the Smart...I wonder how it will resist shearing in an engine that is "harder" on oil.

Well, Motul is MB 229.5 while Bardahl is only 229.3, at equivalent price I'd pick Motul.
