I've been reading about 50,000 kilometer oil drains in Europe and ran across these Motul Specific oils available in the USA now .

http://www.motorspot.com/2003 Brochure.pdf

I would like to try the 5/30 Beemer Longlife oil but too many oils and not enough time as others have posted .

Also they make a WRX Specific 15/50 for other countries where thinner is not looked at as nessecarily better ,, could be a race only product though .

These 50,000 km drain intervals are only possible in very fuel efficient, TDI diesel engines, using high cetane, low sulphur fuel that is not available in North America.

You'd be lucky to get 10,000 miles out of one of these oils in a V-8 gas engine with a 6 quart sump ....

The best synlubes in the world are made in the US and always have been .... The guys at ExxonMobil and Redline will tell you exactly the same thing, as will the friendly folks at Synergyn.

Isn't "French Technology" the very definition of an oxymoron?
