My mechanic had some 300V sitting around so I bought his stash, enough for two oil changes.

VOA viscosity @ 100C is 11cSt so it seems like it thinned out with this interval. Since the car specs 0W-20, I assume the thinning shouldn't be an issue for the next interval.

Nope, HRV isn't direct injection.

Multi-port fuel injection

I never understood why so the fuel percentage is so high. Yes, the car does short trips but it also goes on long trips quite often (100miles+).

Since fuel has always been an issue, will switch to a cheaper oil with short intervals (3-5k miles) once I'm done with the 300v.

Was this a newer formulation of 300v? All the prior analysis I've seen show moly in the 600ppm+ range.

You're right, I see moly# are much higher on older UOA's like this one

This was ordered from worldpac last year. It wasn't sitting around for years or anything like that

EDIT: according to this thread, it was reformulated last year so @dmac_73 was on the ball

Wow, that's a lot of fuel for a non-performance and non-DI engine!

This really seems to be an issue for Honda lately.

Could it be fake?
Or refilled with some other oil?

I'm good friends with the mechanic, no chance he'd pour in something else.

It's authentic. Just scanned the QR code and they actually have a very cool authentication process.

You compare the bubbles on the authentication tag once you scan the QR code
