A simple cycle gas turbine in a car cannot give 100MPG...ever !!

We CAN get way better fuel consumption out of our vehicles, but the measures required don't equate economically (note I never said make sense) for stationary power stations, where weight means little to nothing.

OK, maybe the 100mpg turbine is far fetched, but it sounds like he converted a 1965 Impala to an 800HP biodiesel that gets 25mpg on MTV's Earth Day "P" my ride.

I'd take a 400HP that get 50mpg any day!
