MotorGuard M100 Bypass filter on a Ford 5R110 Trans

I posted this filter in the trans section, but being it's a bypass I thought I'd also add it here as well. It's a Vintage MotorGuard M100 that I've plumbed into my Ford 5R110 to polish the trans fluid. The plan is to change the filter every 10,000 miles and add a quart of oil and never change the trans fluid. I've just changed this roll at 27,000 miles and found no metal or material to speak of.

You can't see well enough.

Could get ATF UOA's with particle counts to compare the fluid with and without the filter.

No combustion ash to deal with... TP roll will last a very long time in the ATF>

Very true, I have a before UOA's done, so after another 15,000 miles I'll do an after UOA's and see how they compare.
