Buy whatever is cheapest. While I hear of people changing to longer life coolants, I'd rather stay with what is approved. Motorcraft G05 is obviously Ford approved. Zerex G05 is Mercedes approved and maybe also Ford approved.

G-05/PG isn't necessarily approved for it, but personally I have used it in 2 older diesel vehicles (that originally used green) with no ill effects.

The on-line version of the OP's owners manual says Add Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M97B51-A1" Valvoline publishes Zerex G-05 is approved for Ford WSS-M97B51-A1. So what's not necessarily approved?
