Motive Brake Bleeder Questions & PSI

Hi everybody.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Motive pressure brake bleeder (SKU#0101) and using it on my 02 Honda Accord V6 and 05 Honda CRV to flush the brake MC and lines. I currently have the hand pump that attaches to the bleeder screw and find 1)it takes too long, 2) gotta have a good seal around the bleeder screw.

Question to those who have used it. For Hondas (or maybe in general), what PSI should the system be pressurized before turning the bleed screw? The whole process seems simple. Fill Motive container with fresh brake fluid, attach attachment to top of master cylinder, pressurize system, open/close bleed screw.

I'm worried about overpressurizing which leads to my question of what PSI to pressurize system to.

Good thought on the overpressurizing. One atmosphere is 14.7, I used 10 to 12 as the desired range on my Vdub with no issues.

If it appears that 10 to 12 psi is not sufficient, you may want to get the fluid moving by also stepping gently on the brake. That will likely get things moving. That's what I do when I use the Motive bleeder on my car.
