Oz statistics, US statistics, been seen in recent threads.

This one happened in Oz yesterday. Couple of points of note, and possibly irony (not the Alanis Morriset type).

Guns in Oz are pretty hard to get...
Buddhists are stereotypically peaceable and not prone to angry arguments.

If you are on site at a Buddhist Monastary, what place could be safer ?

People are people.

A couple of monks get into an argument, and head shoot each other with a nail gun...

Most nail guns require contact with the target to depress a safety on the nose before they will fire....this was up close and personal.

10cm is about 4". A framing nail....surprised that a human cranium/brain can survive the trauma...
