Aside from the primitive electronics, the patented Bendix Electrojector fuel injection system offered on 1958 Chrysler products was remarkably similar in design and function to the electronic fuel injection systems on today's Chryslers (and virtually every other car).

The Electrojector system and today's fuel injection systems have a more direct and common link, however. Can you name it?

Chrysler sold the design to Bosch who worked out the bugs and then everyone else adopted/adapted a system similar to Bosch's design?

You're 99% correct. This was a Bendix product that Chrysler just happened to use. Bendix eventually sold their Electrojector patents to Bosch. The Electrojector design based on those patents served as the basis for future Bosch electronic fuel injection systems.
