If it's built like this one they look like good filters.
The guy said it was a silicone ADBV but I think he was incorrect. (Unless it was the oil on it that was too dirty and black to see the red color.) I would use it if it had a silicone ADBV.

Hard to say. Royal Purple I believe has a silicone ADBV and it's purple, so silicone can be made any color it seems, but the orange-ish red might be its natural color.

Yes, you're correct about RP. But then, it's RP; purple is their trademark.

I stopped the video and I "THINK" I can see a little bit of red on the ADBV.

The reason I stopped using them when I owned Mopars was the same reason I don't use Fram orange cans. There's nothing wrong with the filter itself, but you can get better quality for a lower price. The Mopars used to be something like $5-6 at Walmart, and likely even higher at the dealer. They're little different from a $3 Purolator Classic...the main visible difference being the location of the bypass valve. For the price of a Mopar filter, I'd use a Purolator PureOne or a Wix instead.

Here's one off our Jeep that I dissected:

That would pretty much give you this:

Or, this one for $7.54.

The only reason to buy a Mopar filter is if you really want to complete the Mopar branding for your car.

Otherwise, it is a horrendously overpriced filter, and you would be much better off with other filters listed above.
