Mobil1 or Castrol Edge 0w40 VOAs

Thinking to use either one in the Maxima VQ35.
Anyone has a recent VOA of either one?
Saw some 2016 posted before.

Toss a coin and use either, they're both decent oils. What oil does the motor originally call for?

From year 2016, Nissan prescribed 0w-20 for Maxima's before that it was 5W-30

Unless your car is modified I do no think you need 0W40 oil, neither it gets that cold in MD! I would stick to any SP rated synthetic 5W-30... this engine will last forever, can't say about cvt tranny and rest of the car though!

I settled on M1 EP HM 5w30. 0w40 is great oil but FS which veered me away from it.
