Yes this oil is not available for you guys down south but in my research here it is similar to the 7500 you guys have?

How is this oil? It's on sale here for 22 bucks down from 29 and some change, I want to use it in my Maxima and keep my PP stash for the Acura's.

What do you think spec wise? The car sits outside, the cold is letting up now (I hope! it's been a mild winter) and I've put 6000KM in roughly 3 months with mixed city and highway driving (30/70 respectively).

It has no consumption at all, no leaks. The 2000 is a high mileage oil but do you guys think the seal conditioning may ruin perfectly fine seals ?

Mileage on Motor is 201,000 KM (~125k miles)

Off topic, but your oil filter arrangement is awsome. (1) filter for 3 or your 4 vehicles. Nice.

I'm curious about this oil as well. More specifically, the high mileage aspect.

Yep, it does look very much like the Mobil Super High Mileage here in the U.S.

I used the predecessor of this product, Mobil Clean High Mileage, for probably five years. I had to stop when they changed to this new Super, semi-synthetic version. My car didn't like it as much, more consumption/leak.

If it wasn't for that, I'd still be using it in one of my cars. I think it's a very good product.

As far as causing seal issues when you have none right now, I cannot comment. I would hope it wouldn't, but I have nothing to base an idea on, either way.

Do you plan to stick with it or go back to Pennzoil Platinum? I almost think if you plan to go back to PP, just stick with what you like. You could always switch to a conventional or semi-synthetic high mileage product if you ever have issues in the future.

It sounds like your PP is working for now!

haha the accord can use the 3323 as well. I picked up about 20 bosch premium filters online for less then 5 dollars each shipped to my door.

I put in PP as I purchased this vehicle in December and it only takes 4L of oil and the PP SM I had was a 4.4L bottle so I used it up. The rest of my PP stash is either 4.73 or 5L jugs so no way I can overfill that much. Also PP has not been on sale in a bit so I haven't added to my stash and the Acura's do get about 3 oil changes a year (the TL less due to it being stored).

I'd like to the use the cheapest synthetic or semi synthetic possible on the Maxima even if it's my beater I take care of it and I also want the ability to be able to extend my oil changes in case I can't get under the car in time (due to weather and such).

Argh I found someone on Kijij selling Amsoil OE 5w30 for 4.80 a litre, 12 bottles come out to 75 bucks with taxes and delivery which equates to $6.25 a bottle.

Ahhh what to choose.

When I had a leaker, I found that Mobil Super 2000 did nothing for my leaks, unlike Valvoline MaxLife semi-synthetic, which did wonders. Aside from that, I've had no problems with Mobil Super 1000 and would suggest you look into that, instead. It's regularly on special at Canadian Tire, and can be had at the Real Canadian Wholesale Club at a regular price that's far better than that offered by any other retailer.
