Mobil SS & Group 5 Delete? Should I switch to Amsoil?

1st Question is it proof positive that Mobil 1 no longer has Esters?

Should this be grounds alone to ditch M1?

Although M1 is stout stuff, I like the cleanliness properties of Esters.

I usually use M1 when i can not get propmtly get Amsoil or RP btw-

There is still a debate about Mobil 1. Some say that it does contain esters. You should also be aware of the fact that Amsoil no loner contains esters. In fact some say that Amsoil buys it basestock from ExxonMobil. Royal Purple's regular oil maybe PAO. However, Royal Purple's racing oil does contain esters.
