A question for all the Delvac-in-Gas-Engine users. Do you use the same grade Delvac as your traditional gas engine oil that the car/truck calls for? (i.e: if you normally use Mobil 1 SS 10W30 in your auto, do you use Delvac 1300 Super 10W30?)

Yes the same 30wt in the climate where you live .

Did you find someone with a drum that's open to sell you the 10/30 1300S ?

I'd like to put some of that head to head against some Amsoil at 7500 mile intervals

Have seen 15W-40 truck oil used in gas engines (since new) with good results. Truck was a 1995 Dodge 1500 3.9 six cylinder. Went at least 150,000 miles before they traded it (company truck). Truck did not use any oil and didn't have any engine problems. This was in Richmond, VA where it can get pretty cold in the winter. I think they did 3to 4,000 mile intervals.
