WM currently has Mobil Delvac Extreme 15w40 on sale for 19.97/gal online for anyone interested.
Are those hitting shelves already? I thought I read somewhere that 2026 was going to be the approximate release timeframe. I figured this was just a Wally special. They have to make room for the new API CL-4 and FB-4 Diesel engine oils.
Thanks!@6.7 CTD there is also a rebate that ends Oct 31st. I sprung for the 5 gallon bucket.

No problem, rebates are designed to confuse and intimidate so you leave money on the table.Thank you I did see that just had to ask.
Does anyone know how much "better" this new classification is compared to the previous one? What does FB-4 stand for? They have to make room for the new API CL-4 and FB-4 Diesel engine oils.

Looks pretty similar to CK-4 with a few tweaks...for the "A" designation. "B" designation is another animal.Does anyone know how much "better" this new classification is compared to the previous one? What does FB-4 stand for?
Not close, people keep throwing out this theory that they're clearing stock for new standards coming, but PC-12 is just that still a proposed category with no tentative first license date at this point. ILSAC GF-7 will begin being licensed on March 31 next year, so even for PCMO the idea that they're clearing the way for the new category doesn't make sense, they wouldn't do that until they can produce GF-7 labeled oil which they can't do until at least March 31st next year, which still doesn't make sense, because retailers have never cared about when a new category comes in they just sell the stuff with the previous category until it's depleted and all the stock is the new category. Are those hitting shelves already?
