Virgin Oil Analysis just recently completed, CK4 formula purchased a couple months ago.

Figured I'd share, an updated VOA from one I saw while lurking last year.

On paper, looks decent enough but in the flesh, it's really a nice oil. Actually smells kind of sweet, like candy, and it hushes up some of the extra klicks and klacks of my Cummins 6.7 I get while running conventional Delvac 1300.

I'll toss up some low-mileage oil change analysis in the other boards.

Such a great site, figured I'd give a little something back.

Thanks, all.

Best prices are at Rural King stores, which are few and far between near me..closest one is about an hour and a half drive. But they sell them for about 20 bucks a gallon.

Advance Auto's regular price is 33/gallon but I've seen them on sale for 25.

It ain't cheap! (outside Rural King) but it does quiet the beast down a bit I've noticed.

For about $26 at Mills Fleet Farm in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Probably available at other fleet and farm supply stores, or at least the bigger ones, and at superstores like Meijer's in Michigan and neighboring states. It's often sold at truck stops but for outrageously high prices. There are frequent rebate offers, sometimes for just two gallons but sometimes a lot more.
