Good work, although thats a fairly old MSDS. It's dated 10/1/1993

I wonder how close it is to the current blend ?

Those Mobil MSDS forms are indeed interesting. M1 10w30 and 0w40 appear to be pure PAO, Delvac 1 and M1 5w50 appear to be a PAO / Ester mix. Also, M1 0w40 in the MSDS is a little thinner (centistrokes) than in the spec sheets (71 and 13.5 in the MSDS v 80 / 14.3 in the product specs).

This is from the Australian Delvac 1 MSDS:

INGESTION: Not expected to be a problem. Seek medical attention if
discomfort occurs. Do not induce vomiting.

Does that mean that D1 is safe to drink, or that they don't expect people to be dumb enough to drink motor oil?

"It's a motor oil!!" ..."NO!! It's a laxitive!"

"You're both right!"
