Mobil DC+

The oil I bought is the GF-3, could not find the GF-4, but after carpy brought this oil to my attention I did read and it does say SYNTHETIC so at least that is one good thing, will look for the GF-4 for next change.

The DC+ (non GF-3) is a blend and doesn't meet GF-4. I'm guessing that the new DC GF-4 may be as good as the present DC+ GF-3. But that is a 100% guess.

GF-4 with its AW additive limit will ruin DC+ IMO. GF-3 DC+ is a GIII w/ 15-25% PAO, and a healthy add pack. Or less Mobil pulls something fancy out of their hat(like some of the newer, developmental additives) I can't see the GF-4 version being comparable.

It's my understanding that GF-4 is NOT in production yet.

So how would Mobil DC gf-4 with a maintenance shot of auto-rx compare to Mobil DC+ ???
