Lubromoly additive... [SPAZ!] It's not the same compound as the moly used in Mobil 1 or other good oils. The MoS2 used in that additive is not very compatible with motor oil. M1 performs just fine with the level it contains. Some other oils like Amsoil do just fine with no moly.

Seems to be fine from what I've seen. Like anything else, there can be too much of a good thing as well. Does Redline really need as much as they use? Who knows. 2 Advil will get rid of my headache, but 10 Advil will put me in the hospital. Ok, I have to go to bed now...I'm loosing my mind. [Big Grin] There are oils like Amsoil that have great wear numbers and don't use it. Just a different approach.
