Kinda' slanted, don't you think?

Not that this video proves anything, but why should "grade" matter. According to many on this site, all you need is the most recent API rating and after that, all oils will perform/protect the same. To those same people, the only advantage the Amsoil SS would provide over the vanilla M1 is OCI length which is irrelevant in these "tests".

Amsoil SS does not have the most recent API rating.

Are you saying that it performs better because it doesn't? If not, then my point still stands.

No, you said that according to many people on this site all you need is the current API rating. SS does not have any API rating. So as bad as the fake test is, it's not an apples to apples comparison anyway.

They recommend it for API SN, and I have no reason to believe that it doesn't meet that requirement. Again, the believe by many on here is that SS doesn't provide any extra level of wear protection, just allows for longer OCIs which would offer nothing in this "test". All that said, again this video proves nothing and adds nothing, and being bothered that he compares SS to vanilla M1 is silly.

Or even a silly test should be at the same price point. For example RP and Amsoil are both priced well above the three most popular brands
