My first UOA, hopefully the format looks fine...
* My daily commute is 60 mi total round trip in San Francisco East Bay. Traffic is usually slow but in many instances can get up to 75mph. Highway is not straight but have some up and down slopes.
* Stock filter is made in Japan by Toyo Roki.
* This is my first time with M1 T&SUV. Car was broken in with dino until 10k miles, with the previous 2 runs on Chevron 10W-40.
* Car has Cobb AccessPort Stage 1 ECU mod. It does detonate a tiny bit at full throttle and it should be fixed soon. Otherwise I will consider taking it out.
Overall it looks fine in terms of wear, but 0.5 qt was added about 4000 mi into the interval.
A question regarding the flash point of 365F. I played with the sample by putting it in a freeze for a day, and then it has been left on my table for 1 month before I sent the sample in. Could this have contributed to the flash point?
M1 datasheet shows 14.8 cSt @100C so it has thinned about 14%. Insolubles and fuel seems normal for WRX.
and I had an accident 3 days after taking this sample. Car is being fixed and should be back on the road next week...
