Don't know why my topic was locked, but I still am curious.

Does the M1 SUV/Truck have the same soot control as Delvac 1 would have?

Read your PM on your topic.

DelvacI is the exact same formula as the SUV/Truck Formula. The main difference is DelvacI is sold on the Commercial side of the house and the MobilI is sold on the retail side. So only the containers are different. So diesel soot control will be handled properly, and gasoline engine blowby will also benefit from the 5W40 Full Syn.

UOA's are within 2% and Mobil has confirmed that they are the same.

What about the difference in Boron?

Saterfi,

The word exact is in error as you pointed out. It should read in the Delvac/CAT/Suv-Truck family of oils. The info I received from Mobil may have been a broad inclusive response, but none of my engines, diesel or gas will know the difference which color bottle of the DelvacI family of oils I use in them. And sorry that I posted in your response, a Senior Moment.
