Mobil Synthetic and Mobil-1 are two different product offerings by Exxon-Mobil. Your header claims one and inside your post claims another.

there was no real rebate from Mobil that I saw this year on Mobil 1 products...

$15 off for 6 qt pack mobil1 in my area $43.49-15=$28.49 or $23.74 for 5qt. Thats nothing special, you can get it for $25 now at walmart
