This came off my 1992 Crown Vic, was run for 2 months and 1100 miles, with 4 qts of bulk conventional 5w-30, and 1 qt HPL ec30. This filter seems robust and well constructed, and did catch some carbon particles, certainly looks better than the last filter that came off this car, I will link the thread below for context. Another M1-210a went on its place, and will be run for a bit longer with a full sump of HPL no VII EURO 10w-30. I plan to change that filter out at around 2500 miles or so, just to play it safe.

That M1 filter looks pathetic. I’d have bought a Premium Guard made one

The Mobil 1 filters are Highline Warren. This one looks like the new Mobil 1 since it has a coil spring and holes in the center tube. Had to play with exposure to see them. OP could take a better photo of the center tube to verify.

That super wide pleat with possible media tearing (?), looks concerning.
