Is Mobil 1 ESP considered to be "better" than Mobil 1 FS euro? I have used both and it "seems" like, based off of what people say, that ESP is considered to be "better". Is that true? I understand that ESP is for vehicles with GPF's, but what about in an older vehicle where someone would like to use a euro oil, is one better than the other?

Older Euro vehicle, 0w40 probably better, especially if doing manufacturer 10k-13k oil changes.

Full Saps is better for severe operating conditions such as high loads and high temps as well as cleaning and preventing deposits.. The additive package is great for this purpose.

ESP is better for sensitive emission systems and it has esters to compensate for its low saps additive package.

does it matter if the older vehicle is euro? i went 0w-40 M1 FS in a pontiac hyd roller v8, a jeep 4.0 flat tappet, a 396 big block chevy flat tappet, and a 9 year old 6.0 vortec 2500HD (L96).
