I've been using ESP 0w or 5w30 in a '15 Sprinter 2.1L I maintain, never less than 15K mi. OCI but sometimes more like 20K. I've been servicing it since something like 80K miles, now at 180K and I've never pulled a UOA but that engine is happy as a clam and has needed less work than I expected for how the owners use/maintain it.

Great report and similar mileage to mine. While I've not done any UOAs, I can tell the engine is happy and should provide many more thousands of miles of service; it's the peripherals in the driveline I'm more concerned about, as well as emissions system long-term.

If you drive it with no short trips the emissions and dpf should be fine for a long time.

Do you notice a difference when switching between 0w30 and 5w30 esp?

ESP viscosity control is definitely great. I do wonder if it's that diblock VM Infineum makes.
