Mobil 1 ESP 0W30 vs Pennzoil Euro LX 0W30

The odd engine will show some consumption (usually minor) with GTL based oils, otherwise pick what is cheapest / most convenient for you. Win win here.

So does that difference in Noack mean anything for a vehicle that is driven easily?
It does.
First, you are talking two VERY good oils. There is no problem going either.
5W30 will be more shear stable, less evaporative loss, less deposits etc.
Both of these oils are very similar in origin. Less spread between XW and XX means more shear stable if all other things are equal or close to equal. That is the case in these oils.
But, AGAIN, keep in mind that 0W30 is still above average oil, top choice IMO.

Local AZ has both flavors of xW-30 ESPs in 5 qt. jugs. For whatever reason the 5W was a bit cheaper ($28 vs. $32), so with my perks and a secret discount code, bought 10 jugs for ~$22 each. Ms. Tiggy with the Buddie loves it.

I know this is splitting hairs, but for the sake of argument, how would you rank these four oils for a fuel diluting direct injection turbo like in the CRV?
M1 ESP 0W30
M1 ESP 5W30
PP Euro LX 0W30
PP Euro L 5W30

According to Google Tron the M1 esp 5w30 has a VI of 187. I will look for 0W30.

Viscosity Index, ASTM D2270 of 0w30 is 180.

The LX is 204 VI
