Yeah, there's already been a thread about it. Pretty depressing.
 
If they can lower, and pass all the certs, and go for a 20K oil change, then I see no problem with the modified mix.

The limitation of oil changes seems to be the filter. Oil is made good enough if environmental and combustion debris can be even more minimized, OCI can go 12k+

I think we have reached the peak of OCI's, the oil is good enough, just keeping out/removing out the contaminants needs to improve.
