Thanks Buster, Fun read. I have 0w-30AFE going in the Yaris next OCi.
Complaint-In the piston deposit test, the lighting of the comparitive photographs is substantially different and is not comparable. Where is the data ?(grams of deposit/sample).

Thats a fully rollerized cam lobe - you can tell by the 'fat' nose and flat flank; must be due to periodic roller "skating" - a problem with some synthetics. Actually, it dosn't look too bad for 15K oci. Of course. it was the best looking sample engine out of 50!
Summing up this coolaide presentation: No numerical or statistically relevent data published = ABSOLUTELY nothing proved.
