There have always been stories in racing about somebody having Pennzoil or whatever on the side of their race car and then using Redline or whatever in the engine. The sponsers, whoever they are, get their names on the sides and the hood of the car. Once you get to the Formula 1 level, they may be using a special formulated motor oil for each race and each race track.
