Well I know the consensus by a lot of people is that sealed oil kept out of extreme temperatures doesn't degrade for a long time but Mobil's official position is shelf life is 5 years. Without the date code that could be over 10 years old.

SN came out in 2010, so no way it is a 14 year old oil.

But yes, 11018G01A means it was bottled on July 01, 2018.

Mobil 1 is very easy to figure out, first three digits are plant code, then 2 digit year, then month (A-M, the letter "I" is not used) and then the date. The rest are batch codes.

And regardless of what is on Mobil's site, oil does not go bad just sitting on a shelf.
So long as the API spec meets what your engine needs, you are good to go.
Valvoline says their oil has an indefinite shelf life, but recommends shaking the oil before pouring.
