I did NOT go back 100 pages this time. I went back over the first 20 Mobil 1 5w30 used oil analysis that gave viscosity at 100C cSt.
I was again surprised at how long some go on OCI. The shortest OCI was 2500 miles and the longest was 12,500 miles. I was surprised that the 100C cSt of the 12,500 OCI was 9.98. There was three reports over 10 cSt(one 10.97). I wish now that I had noted the vehicles that got the best and worse overall reports to see if there was a trend. This will be a future project.
Mobil 1 5w30:
average OCI=5671 miles
average 100C cSt=9.60
Average for all 5w30 synthetic oils:
average OCI=6311
