Comments: Switched from dealer serviced Syntec Blend 10W/30 with BGMOA to M1. Honda Filters.
Comments from Blackstone:
This is the first sample we've seen out of your Acura, so we don't know for sure what lead looked
like prior to this. But when we see a mildly elevated level of lead like this, we tend to think it's from a
temporary particle streak through the bearings. If so, it will improve next time. Upper-end wear is great and
the engine is otherwise in good shape. The viscosity was normal for a 5W/30 and no fuel, antifreeze, or
moisture was present. Insolubles (which are oxidized solids) read low at 0.3%, showing good oil filtration.
The TBN read 2.8, okay. Try 10,000 miles next.
