Has anyone done a VOA of Mobil 1 15w-50?
I'd like to know what's in this stuff and how it differs from the regular M1. Thanks

quote:Yup. But if you install Castrol 5w-50, you can over rev your engine to any rpm, and it will take it like it was made to do it. Just downshift right into 1st gear coming off the highway and take advantage of 20,000 rpms of compression deceleration power.

quote:I think 15W-50 has more ZDDP not because it needs it, but rather because it's permitted; the other viscosities are restricted to lower levels based on ILSAC GF-3 (or is it API SL?) spec.
