IIRC Mobil 1 20W-50 is rated to flow down to -38 C. Wow! Nevertheless, I stick to 0W- or 5W-xx in the winter here!

It's still not a terrible deal. One just does have to watch. Canadian Tire seemed to be very quick in jumping on the price increase bandwagon when the dollar took a hit. If our dollar became worth US$2 tomorrow, Canadian Tire would, however, take about 18 months to "notice" that, and another 6 months to work out all the "old stock."

In the 90s I had a 1990 Tempo and used M1 10-30. I tried one OCI with M1 15-50 and noticed my engine was more sluggish. Needless to say I went back to 10-30.
