The sample was taken close to the end of the drain (less than a quart drained after the sample was taken) as I almost forgot and had to find the bottle. I wonder if the high fuel content has anything to do with that.

Was it drained hot? You've got consistent noise

There's hardly any difference between the two like mileage UOAs ..even 11k apart.

If I read the dates correctly, you took 21 months to go 11k. That's either some serious short trip usage, or some severely limited usage.

Check the PCV system, that could be the source of the fuel. I went through the same thing on my 1.8T
