Mobil 1 0W30 AFE 6020 Miles 06 Toyota Tacoma V6

This is the fourth UOA I have run on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 Doublecab.

This UOA was done at 354,358 miles on 3/23/14 with 6020 miles on oil. Previous oil change at 348,338 miles was performed on 01/25/14.

This report was performed primarily as periodic check for engine issues. I changed the oil to Mobil 1 0W30 AFE during the winter months and this report looks at that. All previous oil used in this truck has been Mobil 1, three fills Mobil 1 AFE 0W30 all other fills Mobil 1 EP 5W30.

I changed back to Mobil 1 5W30 EP during the last change.

2.3 is a lot of additive for 6k run. It doesn't drop in a linear fashion so it would be fine.

Nice report - now that the 5W-30 M1 EP price has dropped, I'd probably just stick with that and change it at 11 or 12k. Man, you really do a lot of miles. How's the rest of the truck holding up?

Wow!354k miles?a v6 and low metal number like this ?v engine usually have higher metal value.will probably use this oil next since i want a 0w30 next.

Nice mileage, you going to shoot for 500k?

Your ppm was best on the 11K run of EP 5W-30. Do it again at 10K intervals and forget about the UOA's unless you are looking for fuel or coolant. 500K is totally in reach.
